GEALAN S 8000 IQ is a profile system designed for manufacturing strong, airtight and functional entrance doors. The well-engineered geometry of the internal chambers and the 74 mm installation depth allow reinforced steel reinforcement to be used, creating stable door constructions for residential and commercial buildings.

The system supports different opening configurations, modern types of door hardware and infill panels up to 46 mm thick. Entrance doors can be produced in classic white, with a coloured GEALAN-acrylcolor® surface or with decorative wood-effect foil.

REINFORCED STEEL REINFORCEMENT

To achieve high structural stability, GEALAN S 8000 IQ door profiles are designed to accommodate larger reinforced steel sections.

The 74 mm profile width and special arrangement of the internal chambers make it possible to use reinforcement that is approximately 30% stronger than conventional reinforcement. This solution increases the rigidity and stability of the entrance door.

The steel reinforcement is pre-machined to accommodate the lock case. This reduces the risk of incorrect metal machining that could weaken the construction.

Special threshold fasteners ensure a strong and reliable connection between the door frame and the aluminium threshold.

ADDITIONAL COMPONENTS

A special corner connector is used to increase the rigidity of the reinforcement and strengthen the welded connection of the door sash. Various fastening elements make it possible to manufacture modern entrance doors in different configurations.

Standard door hardware can be installed in GEALAN S 8000 IQ door profiles. The system also supports sandwich panels and other types of infill up to 46 mm thick.

Depending on the project, the door can open inward or outward. This makes it possible to adapt the construction to the entrance area, room layout and safety requirements.

THERMAL INSULATION AND AIRTIGHTNESS

Optimised isotherm distribution contributes to the threshold's good thermal insulation performance. Its unique shape and multiple sealing levels help protect the door construction against draughts and moisture penetration.

Balcony doors and double-leaf door constructions can be installed flush. Depending on the installation situation, the threshold can be fitted between the frames or secured beneath the door frame.

A special cover conceals installation joints, fasteners and anchors, improving the appearance of the finished construction.
